DAVID RYCROFT

David Rycroft studied art history at the University of Edinburgh after leaving Eton. After teaching art in London for ten years, he moved to the Herault in 2005. In 2011 UNESCO presented an exhibition of his work celebrating man's relationship with the biosphere. From 2012 to 2019, David created a series of large panoramic outdoor cityscapes in the historic city of Montpellier.

Whatever he paints, David sees the process as an opportunity to cultivate, embody, and communicate the key principles of his work - space, balance, natural vitality, and appreciation of present moment awareness.
