Languedoc wines with a Burgundian spirit
This small estate in the rare IGP Mont Baudile appellation was created in 2001 by Eric Supply and Marie-Ange Royer, who bought a small parcel of bourboulenc in the Arboras area, in the foothills of the Larzac terraces. The estate was then enriched by other carefully selected plots, but now covers no more than 4 hectares.
Eric Supply created his own domaine to indulge his passion, but he is far from a novice in the trade, having worked for many years in Burgundy, notably at the excellent Domaine Roulot in Meursault. It's in a Burgundian spirit that he pampers each and every one of his cuvées, since he vinifies only single-vineyard, plot-by-plot selections, and carries out ageing in oak barrels that are clearly reminiscent of those on the Côte de Beaune.
The small size of the estate allows Eric Supply and Marie-Ange Royer to work in a biodynamic spirit, without certification, and to carry out meticulous work on each parcel. The wines they produce are full-bodied, energetic and well-coated, thanks to generous ageing.
