"We are a new domaine in the Hérault valley. Although the vines have been in the family for 4 generations, we have just started bottling and 2022 is our 1st vinified vintage. My husband, originally from the Ardèche, set up in business in 2017, taking over my father?s vineyards. I, in turn, joined the family business last year so that we could carry out our project: to vinify and market the fruit of the estate?s finest terroir. The vines are located in Montpeyroux, on a clay-limestone terroir classified in the Terrasses du Larzac appellation.
This extraordinary terroir shines through, as we imagined it would, in our wines. Today, we offer a range of 3 wines:
- "Histoire de? with an IGP Oc rosé, syrah and grenache: a typical Languedoc rosé, colorful and fruity, to be drunk as an aperitif or throughout the meal.
- "Histoire de? with an IPG OC red, syrah and grenache: a fresh, easy-to-drink fruity red; the red side of rosé.
- "Cal Cayre", an AOP Languedoc red, syrah, grenache and mourvèdre: more complex and spicy, with black fruit on the palate and a finish of chocolate and licorice. It remains easy-drinking and long on the palate
