BERNARD TISSIERE

Bernard TISSIERE, born in Sedan in 1950, has been passionate about wood since the age of nine.
He perfected his skills at the École Supérieure d'Ebénisterie et de Sculpture in Avignon.
He is a sculptor specializing, among other things, in olive tree stumps that are several hundred years old.
He also creates pieces in ceramic, iron and stone.
All his works are unique.
To date, Bernard TISSIERE has sculpted about a hundred works, mainly in olive wood, for each of them, he can spend between 80 and 800 hours.
He is one of the rare sculptors in France to realize this style of creations.
His masterpiece: a three-meter high olive tree.
He has received numerous awards and distinctions, including: "the gold medal and the silver cross of French merit and dedication".
